Abstract
|
|
|
For the quality control of abnormal materials in medicine and food, there are proper regulations, but for the detifrice there is no such ones yet. And, therefore, We have studied qualitatively and Quantitatively on arsenics and heavy metals that are contained in 11 domestic and 5 foreign made dentifrices to announce as follow;
① The amount of heavy metals in dentifrices is 1 p.p.m.; and that of aresenics is 0.05 p.p.m. to 1.4 p.p.m.
② From these facts, we consider that it´d be better to regulate that the amount of heavy metals in denrifrices should be below 20 p.p.m. and that of arsenic below 2 p.p.m.
